The Literary Office does not accept unsolicited scripts. If you would like us to review your work, please send us a Synopsis Submission.
For your Synopsis Submission to be considered, you must include:
- A 10-page dialogue sample.
- A synopsis (1-page max) of the piece.
- A brief (100-200 word) statement about how your piece fits with the Public’s Mission
- FOR MUSICALS ONLY – you may include up to 3 sample songs.
We accept both e-mail and standard mail submissions. Note that materials sent via standard mail will only be returned if a self-addressed stamped envelope is included with the submission.
What to Submit:
We produce full-length plays, musicals, solo pieces, and adaptations. Review About Us and Programs for a better understanding of the work we aim to produce.
When to Submit:
We accept Synopsis Submissions year-round.
Response from the Public: Every submission will receive a response from the Literary Office. Please allow 1-3 months for a response. Depending on the volume of submissions, responses may take longer.
If we request the full script, we will confirm receipt of the script upon arrival in our office. After that time, there is no need to follow up with us. Please allow 6-12 months for the Literary Office to consider and respond to your script.
Responses may come via email or standard mail.
