MOBILE UNIT INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Attending a Mobile Unit tour performance is an outdoor adventure, and it is always best to be prepared for inclement weather.

BEFORE LEAVING HOME, CONSIDER BRINGING THE FOLLOWING BASED ON THE WEATHER FORECAST:

  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Water
  • Light Jacket, Sweatshirt, or Blanket
  • Poncho or Raincoat
  • Umbrella - Please note: umbrellas cannot be opened during a performance

BEFORE THE START OF A PERFORMANCE

In the event of rain or severe weather, the performance may be delayed up to 45 minutes after the scheduled start time.

DURING A PERFORMANCE

We will continue the performance if inclement weather (like light to moderate rain) occurs. Still, if conditions worsen to the point where there are safety concerns, we may pause the show for up to 45 minutes. The performance will resume if and when it is safe to do so, or it may be cancelled if conditions do not improve. If the performance continues during light to moderate rain, umbrella usage in the theater is not allowed for safety reasons, so we encourage you to bring a raincoat or poncho.

CANCELLED PERFORMANCES

We will make every effort to perform, but for the safety of our audience, artists, crew, and staff, we may have to cancel a performance in the event of heavy rain, wet ground, extreme heat, or other severe weather or atmospheric conditions. Cancellations may happen very close to or after the scheduled performance time, in which case our staff on-site will make an announcement. Before you head to the Mobile Unit tour site, we recommend checking your email, our website, or our social media channels in case the performance was cancelled in advance.
