MOBILE UNIT'S THE COMEDY OF ERRORS FAQ

We are so excited to welcome you to Mobile Unit's bilingual musical adaptation of THE COMEDY OF ERRORS by William Shakespeare. Find the answers to frequently asked questions below.

Where/When is it playing?

THE COMEDY OF ERRORS will be performed in public parks and plazas across the five boroughs from May 28 - June 30, 2024. You can find the full performance schedule here.

How can I reserve tickets?

There are no tickets or reservations needed! Seating is general admission. We recommend that you register with us to indicate your interest in a performance date so we can send you a performance reminder, detailed instructions on how to get to the venue, and other exciting content.

Will I get a seat?

Chair seating is available at all locations, but seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, and is not guaranteed. There is standing room available, and you are welcome to bring your own chair or blanket to most venues*.

*Additional chairs/blankets will not be permitted at The New York Public Library/Bryant Park or Hudson Yards.

Are there accessible seats available?

Yes! If you require wheelchair seating, or access due to a mobility, vision, or hearing disability, please speak to a Front of House staff member upon arrival.

What time should I arrive?

We ask that you arrive no earlier than 2 hours before the scheduled performance time. Our staff will not monitor lines until that time. When possible, seating will begin about 1 hour before the scheduled performance time.

Where exactly should I line up?

Once you arrive, look for Public Theater staff members or a sign that says "Line Starts Here."

How long is the show?

The performance runs about 90 minutes with no intermission.

What language(s) will be used during the performance?

THE COMEDY OF ERRORS is performed in a mix of English and Spanish.

What should I wear?

All performances are outdoors, so dress appropriately and comfortably for the weather.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes! The show is a family-friendly musical adaptation. All ages are welcome*.

*Strollers are not permitted inside the official seating area.

Can I bring my pet?

Dogs love our Mobile Unit, and we love your (well-behaved) dogs.

Can I bring food/drinks?

Food and beverages may be taken to your seat as long as they are not in glass containers. As the performances are outdoors in public venues, consumption of alcohol during the performance is not permitted.
