Join The Curious Queue on the day of the performance for a chance to purchase last-minute $45 tickets to THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON.

How it Works

Visit The Public Theater Guest Desk at 5PM for evening performances, or when the Guest Desk opens for matinee performances, and add your name to The Curious Queue. Click here for Guest Desk hours.
You must have a Public Theater account. Visit publictheater.org/register to confirm or create your account before arriving at The Public.
The Curious Queue standby list is managed digitally. You can share your mobile phone number to receive text updates about availability, or use one of our pagers, which requires you to remain in the building while you wait.

Once you've joined The Curious Queue, you do not need to check back in at the Guest Desk. We will text or page you if and when tickets become available.
Starting 30 minutes before curtain, please be in the lobby or within 5 minutes of The Public Theater so you can get to The Public Theater Guest Desk quickly.

Guests are added to the queue in the order they arrive at The Public. Please confirm Guest Desk hours before visiting. Lines formed before the Guest Desk opens are discouraged.
Tickets are not guaranteed for any performance.
Curious Queue tickets are $45 each, with no fees. Other discounts, including Student and Rush, cannot be combined with Curious Queue pricing.
There is a limit of two tickets per name in the queue.
The Public Theater Guest Desk reserves the right not to offer The Curious Queue for any performance, to limit the number of guests in the queue, or to close the queue early.
The Public Theater Guest Desk reserves the right to remove any guest who does not follow Curious Queue policies or the directions of Guest Desk staff.
